01/23/06 (11:01 PM): So I was excited... Sunday at hockey I
scored my first goal! Now, granted, it really doesn't count
for anything. We don't keep track of score and we are not competing,
but it was my first ever! I also got my W-2 today, so I did
my taxes. Yes, I'm a dork... but I want my refund and the sooner
you do it the quicker it comes back (plus you beat the rush).
Today was Monday, Monday's suck. At least tomorrow is Tuesday,
but we have 4 more days to go until another weekend. I love
the weekends... this last weekend was particularly good (even
though RIT lost Friday night), so I'm looking forward to the
next.

01/17/06 (8:26 AM): Made it back from Boston OK. Hit a little
bit of snow near Utica, but otherwise it was good. On Sunday
I saw Aeon Flux, it was pretty good. Not as dark and sexual
as the cartoon on Liquid Library was, but it made a whole lot
more sense than the cartoon! I enjoyed it. Then,
I rushed to Skaneateles for hockey. It wasn't very good this
week. I couldn't get my skates right and there were way too
many people this week. I prefer the 3 on 3 to the 8 on 8. Plus,
those kids are too fast for me, I still suck at skating, they've
been skating since they could walk!

01/13/06 (11:11 AM): My training course is going well. Of course, there is always that one slow person that slows everyone else down. ARG, shut up Robert and get with the program (in class now waiting for him to finish). Last night I met up with my Uncle Bo and we went to a Boston Bruins hockey game. They got creamed, like 0-6, pathetic. Also, the Garden center will not serve you beer if you are from out of state and are under the age of 25. How crappy is that? My uncle had to sneak me a beer! Then we walked around Boston for a while and made it back to Harvard Square where we ate at a Mexican take-out place... YUM.
Tonight I'm going to have dinner with Bo again. I was planning on staying
at his house tonight, but I just might go see Shea instead.
The weather is supposed to turn yucky Saturday night/Sunday, so I don't
think I
want to get stuck in it! Still have to call and make arrangements,
we'll see.

01/12/06 (9:35 AM): I safely made it to Burlington. My hotel is very nice and comfortable! The drive was long and my stomach started hurting through most of it, but I made it! I'll post later too...

01/10/06 (11:41 PM): Ok, two posts... equal to last month and
I still have the rest of the month to go! So I had a good weekend.
I went to Buffalo again and hung with Cyn and gang. Sunday
was another skating lesson where I managed to wipe out and
whack my elbow. It's bruised pretty good and it's irritating
because I keep leaning on it. Maybe this is the world's cruel
way of making me keep my elbows off the table!
Hockey was great,
we opened it up to more people this week, since we've been
playing 2 on 2 or 3 on 3. We played with kids and friends,
I brought Bryan along. I think he had fun, not the high pace
aggressive game he probably wanted, but it was fun.
So my exciting news is that I might be going to Boston
tomorrow! We found a training course for Flash, so I think
I'm going. We are waiting to hear back from the rep to ask
some questions and register me. I'm packing my bags tonight
and tomorrow I'm off! I'll going to try to get together with
my uncle and Shea while I'm out there. Or maybe I'll just find
something fun to do!

01/02/06 (10:50 PM): So it's been a long time... I've been busy.
Christmas is finally over... thank goodness! What a stressful
time here in the Culver household. I got sick again. Same as
last year, the "Puke and Poo Flu" again. Not as bad as last
year, but at least I took care of those extra holiday calories!
I also had Ween and Louis' Wedding, that was a great night.
Very happy couple. New Years Eve I road tripped it to Buffalo
to see Chris, Cyn, Andrew and Lou. We played drinking Uno and
had a grand ole time. Now, I go back to work tomorrow... joy.
It'll be a shorter week, but I have a lot to do before it ends.
One of my New Year's resolutions... post to my news page more
often.
