02/29/04: Happy Leap Year! Tomorrow is March already.
Here comes Spring! Yesterday I got to take some pictures of
my babies! Well, not my babies, but my cousins. Damn, they are
cute. Check out my photo gallery
                  to see them.

02/24/04: Today, Orion Maximus Lauster was born (see
picture, sorry, this was right after he was born, so he
doesn't look very happy). He was born at 4:45 p.m. weighing
7.4 lbs. and was 20 3/4" long. Mary had a 17 hour labor,
but it was worth it. I had the privilege to be there when it
happened, and she did a great job. After seeing that, I don't
think I'll ever look at life the same again. Here is Mom with
Orion and the Nurse, Terry (see
                  pic).

02/19/04: sing with me now... "I wanna stay at
the Y-M-C-A!" I'm finally joining the Y! Since my company
does the design work for the Y and Laura is very involved there,
I got a great deal on my membership. So, come Monday I start
my working out. Until then, I'm going to eat all those wonderful
things... cause I'm going to attempt to control my sweet tooth
after I start going... wish me luck.

02/19/04: Next topic, computers. I have my new external
Maxtor HD, my new crucial memory upgrade, and I was able to
test my HP printer, and all is good. Now, my Illustrator that
worked fine before isn't working, so I'll have to locate a copy
of that. But, until then... computer is working. Now all I have
to do is get my butt in gear and install that DVD burner I got
for Christmas... I know, what's keeping me. Well, I wanted to
make sure everything else was working before I tampered with
it. I'm learning a whole lot about computers though. Now I'm
ready for the degree I already finished... go figure.

02/14/04: Let's talk about my Valentine's Day... I'd
have to say it was one of the best yet! I got to see a great
RIT Hockey game against Manhattenville. Unfortunately it was
a tie, but still a great game. Was this my ideal v-day, probably
not. It would have been the best yet had I gotten some
at the end of the evening :-D All in all, just a regular Saturday
night... ahh, I love the weekends.

02/11/04: I'm watching TV and every other commercial
is about Valentines Day. Then, I'm checking my email, and more
about Valentines Day. Valentines Day is great for those who
can celebrate, but sucks for everyone else. I want to see a
company market a product for those who do not have a Valentine...
No Valentine, indulge yourself! Seriously though, why do we
need a holiday for love. Isn't that what anniversaries are for?
Eh, I guess I'm just jealous that all those couples out there
will getting it on, and I won't be... wanna be my Valentine?
                  Anyway, check out this link.
It's from Heartless Bitches International, which I'd have to
say is a very amusing site.

02/09/04: So, I'm sick. I think my mother made me sick.
Stuffy nose and head, runny nose, tiredness, nausea, and all
that goes with being sick. It sucks. I did however finish my
book I was reading. "The Five People you Meet in Heaven"
by Mitch Albom. I had gotten this book on a recommendation from
a friend. I thought it was all right. It was a short read, so
it wasn't that bad to get through. However it wasn't a book
I was sad to have finished if you get my drift. I dunno, maybe
it's just me. My friend loved it. I thought it was a good read,
just not one of my favorites.

02/08/04: This weekend was a good weekend. I went to
visit my aunt and cousin in Latham (Albany). On Friday I drove
there with my Gramma. What a fascinating woman she is. I love
hearing stories about her younger years, my family, and the
bits of history she throws at me. Hint to all, get to know your
grandparents if you can, they have a lot of interesting stuff
to say. Saturday we went and saw Cold Mountain. Up for many
awards, I'd say it was a good movie, until the end. The end
pissed me off. Ruined the whole movie for me. But, see it for
yourself and maybe you'll like it. A very hot and heavy love
scene in the movie though. Made me jealous. I also went to the
movies with Kelly, great to see her again as well. Other than
that, just a lot of down time with the family, just what I needed
to relax and get away from the everyday/week routine. When I
was driving home with Exit 14, the sun was shinning bright.
It's amazing how good the sun feels, I can't wait until Spring.
About 20 miles east of Utica are some rock cliffs along the
thruway. They are covered with ice and ice cycles. It was the
most beautiful thing I have seen in a long time. The sun lit
the whole thing up so bright it was almost blinding, and the
ice cycles sparkled, truly breath taking. Plus, the trip was
fun because I got to play a flirtatious game of Cat and Mouse
with a cute guy in a truck. Meow.

02/02/04: 02+02=04... Alright, it's February. Ground
Hogs day to be exact, more winter, big surprise. My February
started with my big hard drive going ka put. This really blows.
I also did my taxes, so the current thought is: tax return =
new computer. As my sister pointed out, why a new computer when
I can just get a new drive? Well, by the time I get another
drive, more memory, I'm almost half way there. This one keeps
crapping out on me. It's only a matter of time before I lose
all my important files (I anticipated my drive breaking and
luckily transferred my most important files to my C drive).
Plus I'm looking at those sweet deals on Dell computers and
happy thoughts are going through my brain. I thought about getting
a Mac, because they are better (in my mind all you PC geeks),
but the simple truth is, all my current programs/games are for
PC. When I'm rollin in the dough, I'll get my Mac, just you
                  wait.
