06/22/04 (11:17 PM): Work is busy, softball is plentiful.
I took a good line drive to the arm and the ankle today. Not
really the best way to play, but at least I kept it in front
of me! We lost, again. We are on a bit of a losing streak, which
is unfortunate. We can't bat... and neither could I. I usually
don't do bad, a good base hit. But I even stuck out today. It
does happen once a season, lets hope it doesn't happen again!

06/21/04 (10:29 PM): So I went to East Ave Fest to see
Another Perfect World play with my coworker/friend Lydia on
Friday. Good times. Then I went to Booneville to see Chris and
Mike. We went mini golfing and chilled by a camp fire and made
s'mores Coconut Marshmallows are awesome, go pick some up! I
took a bunch of photos, but at the expense of not humiliating
my friends (who hate having pictures taken) I'll put up one
that I took for my 26 things I'm working on. Almost done, 4
to go. The sky was beautiful on Sunday, cumulus clouds are my
favorite! This is reflection:

06/14/04 (12:05 AM): Quickly, Quickly... it's past my
bedtime. Here are a few choice shots
and details from the momentous 100K rollover. Also, I've
decided to name my car Root. I don't know if it'll stick or
not, but I liked it at the time... plus, it's a name!

06/13/04 (11:04 PM): My drive home from Albany was good.
I hit a little rain that was a bit scary. Downpour and hydroplane...
my favorite. However, I played a long and excellent game of
cat and mouse with another Jeep, Cherokee to be exact. Ohh,
he was hot. He kept smiling as he passed by, we were in a chain
of 5 cars speeding down the thruway. I love playing cat and
mouse with hot guys. On that note, I've seen an awful lot of
hot guys in Jeeps lately and I want to say thanks. Thanks for
being hot, driving a Jeep, and making life's road trips more
entertaining!

06/13/04 (11:57 AM): Posting from Albany today. I've
been having a great weekend with my cousin. Yesterday we ate
at Panara Bread, which is great. Then we went mini-golfing,
hit some balls at the batting cages (a first for Hannah), then
we went bowling (another first for Hannah) and shopping! We
finished the day off by going to the movie store and grocery
store to buy junk and watch movies all night long. Great fun!
Today we will make pancakes, watch a movie, and then it's the
road for me. Happy Birthday Steve and Laura today!

06/11/04: So, today was a great day to drive. I drove
across NY state and it was quite beautiful! I was driving just
past Syracuse, Playing a friendly game of cat and mouse with
two guys in a jeep, when I looked down and noticed that I was
about to hit 100,000 miles on my car. Now, this may not be a
big deal to any of you out there, but I never had a car under
100K, so I've never seen one roll over. I kept a good eye on
it and looked up to see that I was going to run into construction
right when it rolled. Well, being on the thruway, I knew I wasn't
going to be able to pull over in construction. So I exited in
Canastota, drove to a baseball field all so I could get some
pictures of the momentous event. Crazy, aren't I? I'll post
a pic later, I can't do that from Albany!

06/09/04 (11:08 PM): Shea (my coworker) took a great
picture of me today. Not as good as the one she took yesterday,
but my camera/card/reader decided to make those disappear. Here
it is, in case you forgot what I look like... I am a year older!

06/09/04 (11:00 PM): I have a very sick kitty. My youngest
cat was found nose down in the flower bed. My dad thought she
was dead. So we brought her on the porch and her balance was
all messed up and when she tried to walk she almost fell over.
We rushed her to the vets and they kept her over night. Well,
this happened Monday, and they are keeping her overnight again
tonight(it's Wednesday). They did tests and it turns out she
just is a sick cat. Birth defects, and yes the vet used the
term "retarded!" She has digestion issues that we
can't help. Cats normal cholesterol is around 1200, Bailey's
was 60! A normal cat's Tri-Glycerols are around 90, her's was
17! They are still watching her cause she isn't getting better
and her balance is messed up. She is no longer running a temperature
(hers: 106, normal: 101) and she isn't as dazed out. But, I'm
sure she misses her family!

06/08/04 (8:08 PM): So I woke up this morning to find
two of my fish that would never die, dead. I'd have to say it
saddens me, even though I kinda want them to die so I can collapse
the tank. It's too hard to care for in my tiny room. I did just
have 4 fish in my 30 gallon tank, then I decided that if they
were not going to die I needed an Algea Eater cause the sides
were getting a little green. As soon as I buy it, two die. Now
I just have an Algae Eater, a Cory, and a Rosy Barb, in a 30
gallon tank. 10 gallons for each. Kinda funny if you ask me!
Buy one, two die.... I think it's because I got the algae eater
from Wal-Mart...

06/06/04 (10:43 PM): So my birthday wasn't quite was
I expected, but unforgettable all the same. To all those who
celebrated with me, thank-you! To everyone else who mailed me
cards, called me, or left me birthday wishes, thank you very
very much. You made my day very special.

As just a little side note, I went into my mother's bedroom
and found a picture I thought would be fun to share with
you! This picture was from my Senior Homecoming (1998),
I was 17 (look how freaking skinny I was)! That was my good
friend and date, Bret. I thought it was interesting finding
this photo because I just ran into him in the most unlikely
place, considering he now lives in Florida. His birthday
is also coming up soon, Happy Birthday Bret! I'm thinking
of you and miss our trips to Norma Jeans!

06/03/04 (11:35 PM): Driving home tonight from the night
out... the moon was gorgeous. I tried taking a picture of it,
but it didn't really come out. But then I was listening to the
white album and thinking about the past two years (birthday
approaching and all) and so much has changed! I look back at
all the struggles and hardships and can appreciate them. I feel
so much stronger and better than I was before and much wiser
about what I want for myself in life. Take a minute to ponder
your last two years... have you grown? Seriously thou, why do
you always get "serious" around your birthday! For
my actual birthday, I just want to have a great time, so being
serious at all! Should be fun...
-
06/03/04 (8:15 AM): Quick update. Going to the Merry-Go-Round
theater and dinner with the work crew. Should be fun, although
I'm feeling rather tired today. I also happened to go to a website
of a very dear to my heart friend, and he put birthday wishes
up for me! I felt so special, and it made me miss him immensely
and want to see him even more :n)
