- 12/29/04 (8:16 PM): iPod is working and rocks me over
and over. I'm using my mom's Bose headphones and it's safe to
say I can't hear anything outside my tune. Bliss. Now I'm just
ripping all my CDs so I can put those on my iPod too. I still
have not installed the monitor I got. That will be the next project
after I finish ripping and getting my laundry done and put away.
Also got all my Christmas crap back to storage and my car cleaned.
How was Christmas you wonder? Shitty, worse ever I'd say. Other
than the excellent gifts. We fought the whole holiday and then
Christmas night we all puked and shit our brains out. Nothing
like the Flu to wipe out a whole family. I must have thrown
up at least 20 times over a 8 hour period. I'm better now, but
damn that was rough.

12/25/04 (5:54 PM): Merry Christmas! Finally, it's over...
too much stress, not enough time this year. Got my iPod!
-
12/16/04 (11:32 PM): The reformat went smoothly. The
first time ever for my machine... nothing is easy with this
box. So, I finally got my family calendar done since I got the
program I needed to work again. I also got my Christmas cards
in the mail (most of them). I still have more shopping to do
and my room and car to clean.
Had hockey last night. It sucked. My skates were butchered
by Play It Again Sports and I could not skate at all. NO edges
what so ever. So, I had the rink there do it and they were better,
but still not great. Now I have to visit Locker Room sports
to get them better again. I was disappointed because I really
wanted to play and couldn't skate. I have trouble skating on
my own, I didn't need shitty skates hindering me further!

12/13/04 (6:47 PM): Just to let you all know, I'm reformatting
my computer. I've never done it before, so if I fall off the
face of Cyber earth... you'll know why.
-
12/11/04 (10:37 PM): Back from my day. Rochester to
my cousin Delaney's second birthday party... then to Syracuse
for the SU game. Syracuse killed Binghamton. I do not like basketball
as much as hockey... and I played Basketball. Oh well, it was
an OK game. However, how can you go to a stadium of 21300 people
and sit two rows behind people from Clyde. Honestly. Sometimes
you don't want to be recognized and you just want a night to
blend in. Oh well.

12/09/04 (10:12 PM): Just got back from choir practice.
It always goes so late at Christmas time. Last night was the
Chamber Holiday Party and IGNITE after hours. We had a good
time! There were not as many people as I had hoped for at after
hours, but I know there was a lot of conflict with other events.
Now we have to start planning our official "release"
event... any good ideas? I suggested ice skating, but I don't
think everyone will come :( I need to get more skating in, I
have another game on Wednesday and this weekend is packed with
stuff already! Craziness. I'm so damn tired. I was so sick this
morning, wine does that to me. I threw up 5 times, made working
very enjoyable. Then I ate the magic drunken/hung over meal...
Ramen. I'm sorry, but when I'm sick the only thing that stops
me from puking is Ramen. I do not know why that is, but it's
a life saver! Oh, I finally got my package from Victoria Secret...
yea, more bras! They were desperately needed.

12/07/04 (9:41 PM): I finally got the package I was
waiting for. Here's a Bryan original, carved from driftwood,
a good luck charm for my car. Isn't he awesome!

12/07/04 (8:40 PM): Chris came down to Auburn to hang
out last night. I always love seeing my friends. Lydia and I
watched Mystic River with him. The movie was really good, but
they threw some crap in at the end that was unnecessary. Lydia
got to meet 6 of my friends this week, busy week! Tomorrow we
have another IGNITE (the group I'm helping to form) gathering.
Very informal. If you are going to be in the Auburn area tomorrow
around 7:30 PM, you should drop by Curley's and have a drink
with us. Click here to read
the article in the paper about it this past Saturday, it's a
PDF file. I made the invitation for tomorrow's event:

12/05/04 (1:51 PM): Oh, what a night I had. Lydia and
I got some greatly needed shopping done. I got my skates sharpened,
and got brand new shin guards, gloves, laces, and blade covers.
I took care of getting my RIT sweatshirts finally and picked
up a christmas present or two along the way. We then ate at
Panara Bread (yum) and went to the RIT hockey game with Bret.
Luckily Rob and Andrey saved us seats, because it was packed.
After the game we went to the movies and saw closer. It was
OK, not sure how I really felt about it. It's kinda a plot-less
movie about people and how they act. After the movie I said
Good-Bye to Bret and Lydia and I headed over to hang out at
Riker's house, which then ended up with going to a bar. After
the bar we went back to his house and hung out. He performed
for us, which is always a treat. We got back SOOO incredibly
late. I did get to sleep in a bit, but got rudely awakened as
always around here.

12/04/04 (9:26 AM): Went to the Hobart game vs. RIT
last night. It ended in a tie, which is most unfortunate. The
Hobart rink is FREEZING by the way. The one side of the rink
is completely open, so it's cold. After the game I showed Pat
and Lydia the highlights of the country... exciting stuff. They
got to see River Rd., Spooky Hallow, the Spring, and we even
went deer spotting... that's the hick life for ya. Not exactly
sure what's on my agenda for today. I hav to go to Play it again
sports, Maybe RIT student store, maybe the Hockey game at RIT...
who knows.
-
12/02/04 (10:34 PM): Had hockey last night. Was great
much fun. I'm much better now that I was before, but now I can
skate a little better. Still having troubles stopping and turning
to shoot, but it'll come with time. The ladies I play with are
super patient and they said I improved a great deal. One of
the refs kept laughing his ass off at me. I told him I was a
beginner, he said "at least your smiling." Why wouldn't
I be? I was playing Hockey!! I get back so late from the games
though, so tonight I'm beat! Tomorrow I get to see Pat who is
driving to Geneva to watch the RIT game with me. Then I might
head to the city on Saturday, but I'm not sure. I also have
to make it to a Play It Again Sports because my skates need
sharpening and I need shin guards. The ones I've been using
are far too long and they make skating very difficult.
